Dog Boarding

dog boarding cumming ga

Paw Perfect Pet Salon in Cumming, GA offers dog boarding services in their all indoor, climate controlled kennels by appointment only. All boarded dogs are walked outside on leash 3-4 times a day, and fed twice a day their normal food from home. Individual playtime/fetch off leash in our yard is available one on one with our kennel techs, and with other dogs in the same family.  We do not provide a public doggie daycare at this time due to limited space at our facility.

Large dogs stay in 4×4 or 4×8 kennel runs inside near other dogs their size, and small dogs stay in large size crates with plastic removable trays for easy cleaning in a different room so the large dogs don’t make them nervous. If Large and small dogs are in the same family, we board them in the grooming room area near smaller dogs together as long as the large dog isn’t an excessive barker.  We are very careful not to upset dogs by placing them next to somebody who is loud.  We strive to keep the atmosphere stress-free for our canine clients.  This is not a loud kennel that barks echo in like many other facilities.  This is a home like environment for their comfort with plug-in night lights provided.  Every dog is provided with either a cot and blanket in a run, or bed and blankets.  Clean water is always inside each kennel as is a bone/toys and clean bedding.  Every dog is fitted with a no-slip martingale collar during his/her stay for safety.  Discounted mini-groom services are available upon request at check-in so your dog can go home smelling his best after a 5 night stay or longer.  Our pricing is very affordable for every family and varies according to the size of your dog.

Please contact Paw Perfect to schedule your boarding reservations, and please be prepared to provide proof of vaccinations upon check-in including Rabies, Distemper (DHPP), and Bordatella.  If you have your vaccines UTD but don’t have paperwork, no worries, we will call your vet clinic for the information.

Every dog who enters must be properly vaccinated whether its for grooming, training, or boarding.  We examine every dog upon check-in to be sure they are healthy.  We do not accept dogs who have parasites including fleas/ticks, dogs who are coughing, have obvious eye infection/excessive drainage, any nasal discharge, dogs who seizure regularly, have serious heart or breathing conditions or those who are elderly and would benefit from an in-home sitter.  We do not board puppies under 6 months of age.

We will administer oral medications or supplements provided by the owner as directed during their stay.  We do not have a vet on staff so giving injections is not something we can do here.
